Meet Mae
This gentle soul is Mae!
Mae is an approximately 6-year old female German Shepherd who weighs 100 lbs. She is overweight and needs an adopter who will work with her to lose her excess weight through weight-management and exercise. She was rescued after being on the streets for an indeterminate amount of time.
Mae is a sweetheart! She is gentle and easy-going. She appears to like other dogs and people of all ages. She would be your companion and best friend! Mae hasn’t shown much interest in actually playing with other dogs, so a home with lower energy dogs would be best. Given plenty of attention and inclusion in activities, she could be an only dog as well.
Mae is crate and leash trained. Since she is in boarding, we don’t know if she is house-trained or not but she keeps a clean kennel.
Mae is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
Since Mae is in boarding, she qualifies to be a foster-to-adopt or just a foster.
