Lyla is wondering who her forever family will be.
She's a pointer mix, about four years old, and a truly sweet dog. She is shy with new people, but with treats and a little time she relaxes and realizes you're a new friend.
Lyla loves other dogs and we'd like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. She gains confidence from them, and also loves to play with them - especially tug ? She also absolutely loves her toys.
She will do best in an adult home or one with teenaged children - small children scare her. She will need a home with a fenced yard since she hasn't mastered the art yet of walking on a leash.
We'd like to see Lyla in a home with a family with a quiet lifestyle.
It takes her a little time to make transitions - once she does, she is a cuddle-bug and you will see her happy, playful personality shine through.
