Luna McNab & Basenji Mix Madras, OR

PUPDATE: Luna was recently returned after 4 months as she was not getting along with one of the unfixed females in the household. Per the previous owner is that she gets along great with males and fixed females. And she likes to chase their cat. She is very active and loves the beach, dogs parks, hiking. Loves to roll in grass, especially wet grass. She has been camping and does good. She can sit, lay down, sit pretty, and spin. Super Talkative. Loves food, including fruits and vegetables. She will play tag, loves rope toys, stuffies, plastic and rubber toys. She sometimes plays to rambuncheous with other dogs so a buddy to match her energy would be perfect. Has been around cows, pigs, and horses and is good. Very curious. Loves sprinklers and water, car rides! There is a lot of info written down about her from previous owner so makes it very nice! She really would love to find her forever home!

PUPDATE: Miss Luna formerly Katey has been returned due to unrealistic expectations. She has lived with cats and is friendly with them as well as some dogs.
She did live with a 10 year old child who she did not do well with so we recommend older kids or have her meet the kids first. We have not seen any type of aggression with her what's so ever. Being a herding dog mix she will need a lot of physical and mental stimulation as well as a good sturdy fence. She is very smart and is very treat motivated. She is still very friendly. She does need some work on jumping on you but we are working on that with her. She knows how to sit on command.

Katey came to us as a transfer from another shelter who was out of room. She is very friendly and loves everyone. We have guessed she was born in Feb 2001 (Feb only because she came in during the month of Feb and 21 pounds.
