Meet Lucy
Here is Lucy's story from her previous adopters because a baby is on the way:
Lucy is approximately 7-8 years old. We adopted her when she was about 2. She is a German shepherd mix that weights 75lbs. She is house broken and has never had an accident in the house in the six years we've had her. She listens well to commands. "sit, stay, down, leave it, come, inside, outside".
She loves to go on walks but will pull when she's interested in something. I had a little more trouble than my husband walking her. We had a trainer who helped with her behavior on walks. He taught "leave it" when she would pull.
There are no problems when she meets new people. She is usually excited to greet people. She is affectionate towards adults. She has only barked at one man on a walk while we were walking alone.
She does have the common German shepherd eye issue Pannus. She has been seen by multiple vets. It was previously being treated with Prednisolone and cyclosporine eye drops.
