DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Lucky! He's a sweet fella with lots of love to give! His sweetness is as abundant as his energy. He's a happy soul, always eager to make new friends, be it humans or other dogs. He's good with children and his playful nature will make him a perfect companion for kids (though probably older children as his exuberance might knock little ones over!). However, Lucky does have a timid side, particularly when it comes to cats. He's also a fantastic co-pilot and enjoys his car rides, especially when it means a new adventure. Lucky is energetic and can be loud in his crate, so we don't recommend him for apartment or condo living. Lucky's love for companionship and good nature shines through when you meet him! Fill out an application today and meet Lucky before he is snapped up!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
