Luca German Shepherd Dog Mix Cypress, TX

Hi, I’m Luca!
My foster parents found me running in and out of the elementary school car rider line near their house. I was about 5.5 months old at the time, and I was skinny and unsure of life after being on the street. Now, I’m ~11 months old, and I’m doing great! I love my two foster fur sisters, and I am great with my human siblings (6 and 3.5 years old) too! I’ve also done well when friends, family, and other kids come to visit.

I’ve been neutered, chipped, have all my vaccinations, and am on monthly Trifexis. I’m house and crate trained (“kennel”), and I also know “sit,” “lay down,” “stay,” “go potty” and am continuing to work on “come” and “leave it.” Though I love all food, I’ve learned to politely sit and wait to eat until commanded. I like to get my energy out in the backyard playing with my fur sisters. I also like to fetch, go on walks, and hang with the kids at the park. I’m great in the house, know my boundaries, and if I get to play in the backyard or go on walks, I’ll take nice long naps during the day.

I’m a very affectionate boy, and I’m probably going to try to snuggle up and sit on your lap if you sit on the floor with me. Who says ~50 lb dogs can’t be lap dogs!?
