Meet Louie
Louie is now available for adoption in BC. He came from California with little hope of being adopted.????
He is an adorable schnauzer poodle mix (we think!)and he is about a year old. He will need regular grooming and he is non allergenic. He weighs about 15 lbs.
He is a playful boy! He needs to live with another dog as this greatly increases his confidence with people. He’s great with dogs and likes to run around the backyard and play. He also picks up toys and likes chew sticks. Louie is housetrained.
Louie is scared of people but is now coming for licks when there is peanut butter involved, lol.
When you come back in the room, his tail is wagging and he is happy to see you. He just won’t come closer than 3 feet.
He needs a backyard as he cannot be leashed up right now.
Louie will need a patient adult home while he gains confidence. A home with women preferred.
Below is our adoption application link. Included is a two week trial adoption. We do a courtesy drop off/pick up at the Tswassassen ferry terminal for approved Island adopters. A home visit is required to finalize Louie’s adoption. His adoption fee is $650 plus PST.
