Meet Blaze
Blaze is a fantastic dog! He is charming, social, fun, and energetic, and loves people of all ages. He is 5 years old and 44 lbs. He specializes in full body snuggles and loves belly rubs. Blaze is dog friendly and is getting along very well with his foster dog sister (2 yr old shepherd). He is house trained and is working on crate training. He also walks very nicely on leash and knows "sit" and "down."
Though Blaze is very sweet, he does need continued training and boundaries. He jumps out of excitement, though that is improving, so might not be a good fit for very young kids. However, he is smart, treat motivated and very receptive to training.
Blaze will be an amazing dog for someone who is around most of the time, has a yard, and can provide regular exercise and training. He loves walks and hikes and is well-behaved when out and about. Blaze would make a great family or second dog.

The first step of the process is you must submit an application in order to set up a meet and great or talk with the foster family. Once application is submitted the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit and can answer any further question. The application answers most of all of our questions and can best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/ Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.
