Special Needs: Yes. Lola is blind in one eye and very sight impaired in the other eye (vet feels she will eventually be totally blind there too).

Meet Sweet Lola! A 3 year old girl who is just the nicest girl searching for a home out there! Lola might be mostly blind but she gets around just fine and it does not impede her ability to run, play, get around at all. The only "issue" with her sight impairment is stairs. A home with few to none would be best for Lola. Know that this is also a very common Collie problem - long noses make it hard to see their feet sometimes and lots of Collies avoid steps if they can,

Lola loves to play with other dogs and will be happiest with another dog in her new home to romp and play with. If your dog is looking for a pal, she is ready to play bow her way into their heart! She is good with cats as well and would be fine in a home with a cat or two!

Miss Lola is an affectionate girl who is great with people and likes to lay at your feet while you watch TV. She is a medium-energy girl and is content with a few walks each day and some play time in the yard with her new doggie pal! She is great on leash and an easy walking partner.

Lola needs a securely fenced yard that must be enclosed with a wooden fence. Lola WILL climb out of a chain link fence. Like a lot of dogs (especially herding breeds), Lola has some thunder phobia and will hide when she knows a storm is coming.

She is housetrained and crate trained (although she doesn't need to be crated as she is very well-behaved in the house). She is a friendly, happy girl who is playful with dogs and people, calm in the house, gentle taking her cookies. She is excellent while being brushed, good having her nails done, great with strangers! Beauty, brains, personality! What else could you ask for?!
