Meet Loki (Courtesy Post)
Loki is a purebred Husky. He is not located at our shelter. Loki needs someone with Husky experience. He can be a handful and needs a strong minded adopter who will provide the proper exercise and discipline he needs. Loki is a very dominant boy and needs an adopter that is familiar with dominant dog behavior. He will bite if he is forced into a crate. Loki eats a special diet due to his sensitive stomach (Hills Prescription Diet: Gastrointestinal Biome). Approved adopters will be required to have him leashed 100% of the time outdoors, unless in a securely fenced yard. Like many other Huskies Loki will roam given the opportunity. Loki needs to be kept far away from chickens and rabbits, he has an extremely high prey drive and will kill them given the chance. He absolutely loves people and dogs. He plays rough with dogs so dogs around his size would be best. Dog training would be recommended for potential adopters. Although Loki can be difficult at times he loves to snuggle and wants nothing more than to be with his people all the time.
