This very handsome boy is Loki! He was surrendered to the shelter on 2/9 because his owner passed away, and no one in the family was able to care for Loki. We did learn that Loki is good with kids, and he's house and crate-trained! This is great information, and we think Loki will adjust in a new, forever home easily. Loki walks nicely on leash but tends to pull when excited. No worries though; he is treat-motivated so he'll pick up new things quickly! He seems interested in other dogs in a playful way, he might like having a dog buddy to play with. The volunteers have discovered that Loki LOVES playing with tennis balls and enjoys carrying them on walks. This boy will be an amazing adventure buddy for an active person/family. He’d love to join you on runs and hikes! Even though Loki has been in the shelter for a while now, he is not letting that dampen his spirit. Loki is an overall amazing dog and volunteer favorite; he is playful, fun-loving, and affectionate. Could Loki be the one you’ve been looking for?!

Loki is 2 years old, and he is not a large-sized dog at 58 pounds. He has been neutered, heartworm tested negative, current on vaccines, and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Please come meet Loki in run 872; his ID # is 653576.
