Hi, I’m Lizzie, a senior dog in search of a loving home. I’ve been well raised – I’m housebroken, walk well on a leash, ride well in a car and am a quiet, well-behaved girl. My foster family has other small dogs, and I get along with them very well. In fact, I like having another dog around who can show me the routine and help me feel comfortable.

I like to be within sight of my human whenever I’m not asleep in my big comfy dog bed. I don’t play much and I’m not into roughhousing, so a home with adults or older children would be best for me. I would be a good low-impact companion for the right person.

Healthwise, I checked out just fine. My hearing isn’t what it used to be, so visual cues are helpful. I’m pretty quiet, but I LOVE food time and will show you my excitement when mealtime comes! I like to go on walks but am also happy to stay home, as long as I am with you. Please help me find my furever human(s). I will make a great addition to your family.
