Meet Lizzie
Sweet Lizzie came from a euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in Texas, but hasn’t lost one bit of her love and affection! Her furever home will need to be patient and caring — and ready for lots of kisses and cuddles! She is a 10 month old kelpie/shepherd mix that weighs about 45lbs.
Lizzie is slowly learning to trust people again, and is still fearful of new experiences. Her perfect furever home will need to be patient and loving. She’s a shy girl, but with a patient adopter, she’ll make the best companion. Once Lizzie becomes attached she looks to her human for constant reassurance and support.
She’s a low energy pup, and would thrive in a quiet home with low traffic. Lizzie is the furthest thing from aggressive — she is snuggly and sweet, and loves a good nap. Due to her fearful nature, a home without children is best. Lizzie also depends on her humans so much for comfort that she does not like to share them, so we are suggesting that Lizzie is an only dog home!
