Lime Border Collie Mix Anza, CA

Lime is an absolute sweetheart and hidden gem. Her sister Lemon got adopted in the blink of an eye but this beautiful girl here has drawn a short stick in life and is still waiting for a family. At a young age, likely around 6 weeks old or sometime before, Lime's vertebrae was crushed and left with an injury to her back. By the time she entered our care, we got her booked to the vet to get her fully checked out and unfortunately, there is not much more than can be done to repair her spine and there is no surgery than can help at this time. With all that said, Lime is one happy girl who doesn't allow this special need to slow her down. She's an active, energetic puppy who is just like her peers. Though she's got a funky walk and may never be "perfect", her personality more than makes up for this disability. Lime loves going for walks and even hikes! She bounces and wrestles with her buddies all day. She's very easy going too and settles down perfectly. Her mom was actually a Doberman but she must have some Border Collie somewhere down the family tree. Lime is one of the sweetest, friendliest, and happiest puppies ever. She loves everybody who crosses her path and is a total wiggle butt. She's super affectionate and she has a lifetime of love and companionship to give, just like any other puppy.
