Hi, my name is Lily! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Energetic, smart, a little nervous

-Can Live with Kids: Lily lived successfully with older kids in her previous home. She would do well with respectful, dog-savvy kids who can respect her space. At this time we're recommending kids 12+

-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised intro. Lily's previous owner said she chases small animals so she'd likely do best with a confident cat who can stand their ground.

-Can Live with Dogs: We are still evaluating Lily to see how she does with other dogs here at the shelter. Ask staff if you'd like to know more!

-Can do Apartment Living: Yes

-Potty Trained: Appears to be!

-Bite History: No

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No

-Energy Level: Medium/high

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Spay/microchip

-Additional Information: Lily is a smart, active young Chihuahua mix who's been pretty anxious in shelter environment. She may need a little extra time to feel safe/comfortable in her new home, but once she knows she's safe, we think she'll be an excellent velcro dog who wants to be with her person as much as possible! Lily would do best with a family who can go slow and be patient while she adjusts. She's super silly and playful once she's comfortable!
