Meet LILLY

Orange County, CA (S Cal)- Lilly is a petite, sweet, very friendly and happy young female chow/spitz breed mix, possibly with some jindo or shiba inu also in her. She just turned 1 year old, and takes treats gently, gives kisses, loves belly rubs, rides well in a car, and previously lived with a younger child. Unfortunately, the owner’s landlord would not allow her (she is now about 40 lbs now and seems full grown), so a loving, forever and stable home, or foster is needed asap. We just arranged to have Lilly groomed, and she is even prettier than her pictures show, with a very soft, luxurious coat and extra fluffy, curly tail. Lilly is already vaccinated, but will be going for a check up, and is scheduled to be spayed. Currently, Lilly is in a very temporary foster home with a dog and a cat, but needs a new home or longer foster asap. So far, Lilly has done very well with all new people she has met and is quite social. She also has a calm demeanor inside the house, but she also loves to run outside in a yard, chase butterflies, or going on a walk. With the other dog In the foster home, she has done well playing in the yard, or laying side by side inside. However, we have also noticed some dominance issues around food, even though she did live and grow up with two tiny dogs and cat without issues. Lilly will make a wonderful pet and companion since she is great with people, but ideally, we feel she may do best as the only pet in a home due to her wanting to be an alpha pet around food.
