Liberty is one of our "Memorial Day" pups. He weighed 16.1 lbs. at intake on May 25 and is expected to be a big boy!

Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed.

For adult dogs, our adoption fee covers a general wellness exam, a standard canine vaccine, a rabies vaccine, deworming, a current heartworm test, and are on a monthly heartworm prevention.

For puppies over the age of 14 weeks, our adoption fee covers a general wellness exam, deworming, and the first 3 puppy vaccines. If the puppy is still in our care at 16 weeks, we will also provide the rabies vaccine.

If you are adopting an intact dog, a refundable spay/neuter deposit is required, and a vet reference may be required.

Scheduled Meet & Greets occur on Saturdays in our Adoption Center at 220 Joyceton Church Rd. in Lenoir between 10am & 3:30pm. Additional times may be available depending on schedules of Adoption Counselors and Foster Parents. To make an appointment, send an e-mail to: info@foothillscaninerescue.org. We do not hold dogs. Fees are required in cash.
