Leroy Pomeranian & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Natick, MA

Leroy is a healthy, happy 3-year-old, 17-pound Pomoranian-Yorkie mix. This little guy was found as a stray by Boston Animal Control and his owner did not claim him.

Leroy could not be any cuter in his looks and personality. He always makes you smile. The dude is super friendly from the moment he meets you and will insist immediately on cuddles and pets. He has never met a stranger.

This dog approaches everything with total joy. He loves life, including playing with humans, dogs, and toys, cuddling up on laps, racing around the house and exploring everything. This includes countertops if there is a way to get on them. He barks when he sees a pedestrian out the window (especially if the human is walking a dog). For that reason, he is not a good candidate for a busy neighborhood or apartment building.

In the short time Leroy has been in foster care, he has made great strides in housetraining and basic manners. In 2 weeks, he is 85% housetrainex. He is smart and exceptionally food oriented so a good training candidate. This confident dog has no fear or separation anxiety.

Leroy’s would best be suited with a home where he can get lots of exercise. He would love to love with another dog. He would benefit from an owner with some experience.
