Meet Lenny. Lenny arrived here as a stray that the "finders" had for several months. Lenny was terrified of everything. A leaf blowing. A door closing. Any bit of noise. He would cower in the corner and be as small as he could be. With gentle words and patients he has come around very well. He is a happy boy now and gives you tail wags and smiles. He may jump at a load noise or something moving fast but he has made great strides. He like to run and play. Does well with some of the other dogs. Has yet to meet the cats so we would need to get back with you on that. He enjoys his walks and is enjoying peoples kindness and attention. He will come for that instead of avoiding. He is a jumper and we are working on this. So we suggest caution with small children. A fence is highly recommended for Lenny due to his occasional skittishness. He will do great in a quiet, easy going home but he is by no means a lazy boy. He will need long walks and exercise. An active person is recommended. Some one with patients, energy to play, hike and have a great time with him. Lenny is a sweet special boy!
