Layla Mixed Breed Grand Island, NE

Layla came to The Good Life Rescue when her previous owner was in need of mental health care. Layla found herself in a small town pound on the euthanasia list due to space and lack of resources. Layla's foster found out and headed to meet her right away. Layla bonded to her foster quickly and knew right away she was meant to join The Good Life Rescue!

Layla does well with both small and large dogs, although slow introductions are recommended. Once she feels safe, she does well!

According to Layla's foster mom, she LOVES cats! She is very gentle with them. She has also lives around cattle and chickens and has done well, although she does like to herd them and would need some more training.

She equally LOVES kiddos, but she does need to work not jumping up, and may knock over smaller children. For this reason, we recommend older children that are also respectful of Layla's space.

Layla is kennel trained and appreciates having her own space. Her foster mom leaves her out during the day though and says that she is content and does well.

Layla loves all the toys, but playing with balls is by far her favorite.
