Hi, my name is Larry! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy, energetic
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history but should be okay with kids aged 10 and up who are respectful of space and body language.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history but may be okay with a slow introduction.
-Can Live with Dogs: Possibly a puppy-tolerant dog! Introductions will be scheduled to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: Not recommended.
-Potty Trained: Needs some work! Larry is still a puppy.
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, Larry is required to be signed up for a 6 week group course.
-Energy Level: High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes a neuter and microchip
-Additional Information: Larry was found running around with another dog (Shredder) up in Maple Falls as a stray. It is unknown what his history is, but it is apparent that he is a little under-socialized. He is looking for a forever home that is dedicated to working on his confidence. Continued positive reward based training, a consistent routine, and plenty of patience will be key to getting Larry started off on the right paw. It seems as though Larry loves the outdoors and would enjoy having a large yard to romp around in. It will be required that his new adopters are not gone for too long during the day since puppies do not do well being left alone for long periods of time.
