Meet Lara!
Now this little girl is the sweetest thing. She is the definition of a love bug. Her personality is perfection and her eyebrows give her so much character. She is currently being fostered in a home with various dogs, cats, horses and chickens and does really well with everything.
Lara is sweet and more brave than her sister, Indie. She does shy away if she thinks she’s in the wrong and with some encouragement and treats if I have them she comes around quickly. She is extremely food motivated. Lara has excellent recall off leash and stays close to her foster mom but still enjoys playing and exploring away from her at a comfortable distance.
She is very social and quite submissive unless it’s with her sister, then she is the boss. She licks and shows bigger dogs her belly often. She is very playful and loves when she has a dog buddy to play with that isn’t her sister, although she does love her sister, she enjoys her breaks from her. She is being kennelled at night and does excellent going in it for bed and sleeping through the night. No crying from this little lady.
Lara has big paws that point outwards, a long body, and she is stubby but has Shepard/rotti markings which really throws us off for guessing her breed. We do know that Lara is 100% cuteness.
UPDATE APR 6/24 - She loves all people & adores kids. She had a 3 year old who she couldn’t get enough of at our adoption event a few weeks ago.
Lara & Indie are growing up right before their foster mommas eyes. ? we need to get these girls into their own home so they can make their new family very happy!

They have started to learn basic commands, and they do well staying home on the acreage they are currently at. They are both very affectionate and sweet ladies!


She would make the perfect addition to a home with children to keep her company.

Our regular dog adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, rabies shot (if you use our local vets), shots and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery) spay/neuter deposit in the form of a post dated cheque or PAD form.
