Meet Koal
Koal grew up inside a cage. Seriously. That's all he knew. He ate, slept, and went potty in his cage. (see picture of how he was living).
What Koal has learned so far since coming into rescue:
Koal has really blossomed since arriving at Mini Mutts. It took him a little while but he's finally keeping his crate clean with an accident here or there. However, he is still soaking his belly band so he would greatly benefit from someone who is home most of the time and can take him outside for potty every couple or three hours. He doesn't like the leash and is still learning to walk down steps without stumbling so he NEEDS a FENCED IN YARD.
Koal is full of energy and needs to be able to run around and have lots of toys to play with. He will move from toy to toy to toy and in between play with another dog in the house. Koal does get into the trash so care must be taken to keep the trash can secure. Just think of Koal as a 4 week old puppy in an adult body.
Koal is very loving, starving for attention, and just needs time, attention, training, and PATIENCE. In return you'll have a buddy totally devoted to you!!!
