Koa Hound Mix Springfield, MO

Aloha! Koa here. Although not from the great state of Hawaii, my name does mean Brave One in Hawaiian. I was sick, scared, alone and dodging traffic when I was rescued. I've been a brave boy through all of my treatments and I'm now ready for a happy, quiet life where I can truly enjoy living. I'm about 8-years-old, have now reached a healthy weight of about 25 pounds, and we think I'm likely a hound-mixed-breed guy.

I get along with other dogs and kind humans of all ages. I'm house trained and okay in my kennel and on a leash. My forever home should have a fenced yard, maybe another friendly dog, and loving, patient people who will continue to help me learn and show me humans are good.

As a senior, my adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
