Klondike Siberian Husky Lake Oswego, OR

Adventure-seeking, nose-following, smart, and playful Husky seeks forever guardian(s) to adventure with, play with, and snuggle! Klondike is our 62 lb, about 4-year-old Husky fella who *loves* a sniffing adventure and would likely excel in a nosework class with his guardian. He has gone on hikes with staff and loves the adventure. He loves his enrichment—both mental and physical—as well as a nice nap after his needs are met. He’s an active guy looking for an active home with a fenced yard. He’s done so well in our yards here at POOCH—he’s never tried to go over or under the fences, which is A+++ for a Husky! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations.

Klondike is currently living in a kennel/shelter environment so we can't say that he is house-trained. But he has demonstrated that he will not go potty when he is in an enclosure, and when he is in his large kennel at the shelter overnight, where he has an indoor-outdoor run, he always potties right near the front gate of the outside portion of the kennel. So we think he gets the concept and will catch on quickly when in a home!

Being the smarty pants that I am, my friends here at POOCH are helping me be my best self through appropriate enrichment: playing, sniffing, shredding, brain games, food dispensing toys, and learning! I have done well playing with my dog friend here at POOCH, so if you have another dog we could see if we can be friends, or I could be your one and only as well—I’m a flexible fella! I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of my vaccinations.
