"Hey, hey! My name is Kitty Chesney and I'm looking for a home to call my own. I came to SVASC as a stray and was never reclaimed, so maybe I could crash on your couch... forever?

I am a 6 year old or so Coonhound and really, I'm the sweetest pup around. I love people and enjoy spending time with the staff members here at the shelter; kennel life just ain't for me and I'm all about being out and about. Speak of... sometimes my Coonhound nose gets the best of me, so it would be best to keep me on leash or for me to go to a home with a fence. The vet says that I'm a little on the pudgy side and so some good exercise would do me good.

I do get along with other dogs and actually came to the shelter with another pup. I would love to meet any future siblings, though. I do appear to be house-trained and tend to keep a tidy kennel when given bathroom breaks.
