Meet Kipper
Hi! My name is Kipper and I am an almost 6 month old Basset Hound/Australian Shepherd mix. I have been with my foster mom since I was 8 weeks old, and although she says I can stay as long as I need to, I spend a lot of time lying in the sunshine wondering what it will be like when I have my very own family! I weigh about 40 pounds and will be a medium size dog. I know all about how to walk on a leash,
even though my foster mom says I am too fast (not true.. she is too slow). I really like my crate and don’t have accidents in the house anymore. I love all my toys and my favorite part of the day is when I get to choose a treat to snack on. I
know some commands, but they are boring. I just want the SNACK! I really REALLY love to be outside exploring or playing with the other dogs here. I live with cats too and a weird foster rat, but I just ignore them.
My best family would have a big backyard, maybe some kids to play with or another dog, and a big couch where we can all snuggle after a fun day of adventures!
**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**
**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
