Kimchi Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie Charlotte, NC

Kimchi is a neutered male 19lb sable & white Sheltie puppy. Our vet estimates he is around 1 year old. He came from a very terrible puppy mill situation and has made a lot of progress acclimating to life inside the home and as a beloved indoor pet. Kimchi is up to date on all of his vet care with no known health issues. He is a very fun and playful guy, and he LOVES treats and learning! He seems to do well with most other dogs, but has not been tested with children or cats. He does play rough at times, and any other pets in the home will need to be accommodating of this, or close supervision will need to be provided during playtime. He also sometimes does not share toys or food/treats well, so playtime with toys or bones also needs to be supervised. Kimchi is currently taking a mild anxiety medication, but we do not expect him to need this forever. A securely fenced yard is required for Kimchi's adoptive home, and he also walks well on a leash. Continued training is needed to work on his reactivity on lead. He is crate trained, and working on his house training and basic manners.
