Kenji Anatolian Shepherd Mix Missoula, MT

Kenji is a hunk of delight. His favorite pastime is romping around in a big yard with canine playmates, but he is equally happy lounging on the rug or even a large couch in the living room. He spent most of his first year as an outside only dog, but when it was discovered that he jumped the small fence to get into the neighbor's chickens and bunnies, he found himself unwanted and was surrendered to ARC. The neighbors were threatening they would shoot him.

Since that time, Kenji (previously named Kenai) has been neutered and vaccinated, and he is ready for adoption. He is in a foster home in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. We have discovered that he does very weel inside and has quickly adjusted to his new circumstances.

Kenji is roughly 85 pounds and now full grown. He did spend some time with two cats in one transitional foster home, and it was manageable. Although he did not exhibit strong prey drive and did not try to attack them, we would recommend keeping a close eye on him with house cats.

Kenji does fabulously on a leash with a harness.

Kenji loves all people and would do well with children of any age.
He is awaiting a loving forever home, and his adoption is $150.
