Karma Chihuahua Mentor, OH

Karma is an 8lb, 4 year old Chihuahua mix. She is one of the nicest dogs you will ever meet. In her foster home she gets along great with the family dog (also a Chihuahua) and the family cat. Karma only has a few teeth left and thus eats a wet food diet and has some soft/semi-soft treats.
Since joining her foster home she has learned to walk on a leash, and learned how to “sit” and “lay down”. Karma is mostly housetrained, and goes without accidents when she is kept on a regular schedule. She is also crate trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night.
Karma’s favorite activities are eating, playing with small plush toys, going for walks, and being glued to her humans as much as possible. When her foster family is working from home she likes to lay on the couch and look out the front window. She is a timid dog due to her past, but once she gets to know you after a few days she won’t want to leave your side.
Karma would do well in a home with someone who can work from home or someone who is retired that can take her on frequent potty breaks. She has done well with brief interactions with kids, but Karma needs her family to be gentle and calm around her. She has the sweetest caramel-chocolate colored eyes that will melt your heart!
