Karamel Labrador Retriever & Spaniel Mix Albuquerque, NM

Meet our Karamel, a 2-1/2 year old medium-size lab/spaniel mix. Her foster mom tells us "Karamel is such a sweet girl, she’s completely house trained, comfortable to be in her crate at night and for short times during the day. She loves her daily walks – does great on trails like the Bosque or Los Poblanos and is unfazed by other dogs, even when a dog is trying to get her attention on those trails. She may be a bit reactive in neighborhoods where there are dogs in the front yards barking menacingly at her. She knows not get up on furniture/beds, and to respectfully stay out of the way when you’re making dinner. She absolutely loves car rides and knows basic commands like sit, down, lay down, stay. She’s also very athletic, likes to fetch tennis balls and can jump in the air to catch them. She just likes to be where you are and loves to cuddle, .. so sweet and affectionate .. and wags her little tail in her sleep."
Karamel would prefer to be the only dog in her home so she can get all the attention. She is also very athletic and curious so we will be looking for her forever home to have at least a 6' fence.
