Meet Kane

***Please Read about his special needs*****
Kane is a 3 year old golden doodle who is very shy. He was severely neglected and possibly abused in his last 3 years of life. He came to us severely emaciated and matted to the skin. We weren't even sure what breed he was. He is working on building his confidence. He is going to need a special quiet home that understands he is blossoming is going to take time and patience. Due to his insecurities we don't think a home with children is appropriate.

We have started him on Prozac (which is pretty cheap) to help with his anxiety. It has shown some progress but he still has quite a ways to go. He does tend to gravity toward men. He will need another dog in the home to help as his emotional support and help build confidence. He is certainly a special case and needs an experienced adopter of doodles due to his coats needs and experienced with traumatized dogs.
