Meet Kammie

Kammie has found her forever home with Leonard P in Avon, MA
Come meet Kammie at Open House on MONDAY, March 25, 3-5 pm at 106 Adams St, Medfield, MA. If you are interested, please submit an on-line adoption application at foreverhomerescue.org, and make an appointment to attend Open House.

Kammie is in a local foster home, and approved applicants can make an appointment to meet her. No need to wait until Open House..

Kammie is an 11 month old Cattle Dog (Heeler) mix. She weighs about 40 pounds.

Kammie and her siblings Nellie and Kimmie (also on our site) were strays before they came into rescue. Kammie has been in foster home for the past few months, and the fosters have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She has has an outgoing personality and a great temperament. When she meets someone, she wiggles her whole body with excitement. Kammie is learning to walk nicely on a leash, and enjoys going for walks. She enjoys spending time outdoors and loves rolling around on her back on the grass. She is a happy, fun-loving, playful, friendly pup who enjoys being petted. She also sits quietly when her foster mom is on Zoom calls- check out the photo! Kammie is a smart girl- already knows a couple of commands, and learns quickly.

Kammie is crate trained and house broken. She gets along with other dogs, but does not like cats.

Kammie is looking for an active family that has time, patience to train, exercise and play with her. She would love a fenced yard. As with all of our puppies she would do best with children 5 and older.

Cattle dogs are smart, working dogs, who love having a job to do. They require physical exercise and mental stimulation to prevent them from getting bored. They do great at dog sports.

Adoption fee: $450
Adoption Coordinator: Vera
