Kaliapy Labrador Retriever & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Waunakee, WI

Hi, I'm Kaliapy. I used to live in Texas as a stray, but a nice place called Brown Paws saved me. They brought me and my 4 babies up to Wisconsin in August and we moved into a nice family's house. Since then, my babies have found their forever homes, but I haven't. I'm happy to stay where I am, but my foster parents say it's time for me to move out. Here's about me; I'm potty trained, I love being outside, I'm kennel trained, I don't bark much at all, I know a few tricks, and I'm great with kids, dogs and cats. Some things i need to confess; it takes me awhile to warm up to new people, but I promise it's worth the wait. I'm also terrified of men and prefer not to be around them. I just have had some mean men treat me not so nice and I have a hard time telling who is nice and who is mean. So now when I'm around men, if they move fast, I get so scared my natural reaction is to nip them, so they back up and don't hurt me. My foster mommy and daddy has stuck by my side since I came to Wisconsin and they're my favorite people in the world! So, I need a family that will stick with me and not give up on me when I handle things wrong purely out of fear. I know it will take special people, like my foster family, to understand me and adopt me, but I'm patiently waiting for them to find me! I promise if you give me a chance I will try my hardest to be the bestest dog ever, as long as you don't give up on me! Thanks, Kaliapy
