Meet Juvilee
Minibernadoodle/sheepdog

Saturday, March 23rd, these beautiful sisters will turn 8 months old. They are half mini bernedoodle and half sheepadoodle. (Juvilee is grey and Joy is ivory) Adorable we know, but keep reading…?
When these sisters arrived at SGDH, they were terrified, mated, and filthy. ? For the first 7.5 months of their lives, they did not live in a home, walk on a leash, or know what it meant to be a loved family member.
These girls are taking apps, but they are scared and will need calm homes that will go slow with them, allow them to come out when they are ready. This could take a month plus. Their hearts clearly are capable of love and they are curious to know what a warm lap feels like, but in the mean time, they need a home that will keep them safe. Scared dogs that don’t trust humans are flight risk until they bond with their people and know they are safe.
Their ideal homes would have a secured yard and no young children.
On a positive note, neither of these girls have shown any aggression. They go into flight not fight mode.
We will update after more time passes, but Joy was carried in and out of the house to potty as she would hide behind furniture and doesn’t walk on a leash. Her foster yard is fenced, but we still keep a leash on for additional safety for the time being. We share this not to be judged, but to make people aware that every dog is different and requires a special home.
Check out the picture of Chipper showing Joy how to relax on a dog bed. For some dogs, this is no big deal, but for Joy, this is huge progress.?
Joy & Juvilee will be adopted out to separate homes so they can bond with their families.

Currently decompressing in her temp foster home. I know these pictures are bad, but I didn’t want to force her out of the crate as clearly she felt safe with her sister. They will be adopted out separately.
This Happy crew just arrived 3/5/24 so we don’t have much info yet, but we will update information as we learn about each pup. All of our pups will be fixed prior to adoption. Please join our Facebook for more information.
