Juliet 6906 Pit Bull Terrier Mix Rogers, AR

With a blend of excitement and uncertainty, Juliet accompanied the photographer for her first trip to the Humane Society bark park. She had arrived at the shelter having lived her 2 years being treated as an object and not an integral part of a loving family. Juliet showed a want of courteous behavior as she occasionally hopped up on the human as they walked about the park together. The photographer decided to give Juliet a little more time to acclimate to the freedom of the park as he settled down on the park bench. A couple of minutes later, Juliet sauntered by, and the human scooted over and invited her to join him. To his amazement, Juliet not only took advantage of the seat but moved over and cuddled up closely with the human. She put her head on his shoulder and the two not so different life forms huddled together for literally the next 15 minutes. The photographer doesn’t ever sit in one place for more than two minutes but the feeling of contentment and serenity shared between the human and the canine was beyond belief. Juliet hadn’t had the chance to experience this tenderness and affection in her past, but it was within her, and the experience was life changing. This quiet, peaceful canine has a lovable, huggable nature and is hoping for a forever home with a human who understands the importance of closeness shared by forever friends.
