Judd Chihuahua Alamo , CA

Judd is a very friendly senior chihuahua with some health challenges that require medication twice a day (he takes these easily in his food or in pill pockets). He’s very sweet and often smiling and wagging his tail. He loves to eat.

We rescued Judd from being killed at a shelter in the Central Valley in mid-January 2022 after he was abandoned there. Judd is looking for a kind, understanding home familiar with older dogs or chihuahuas and is willing to adopt or become a permanent foster home for the remainder of his days.

Because Judd is on a diuretic (and thus drinks a lot of water) and because he was never neutered, he does need to wear a belly band when in the house to prevent him from urine marking. He is very good about keeping the belly band on (and it prevents inappropriate urination in the house)! You just need to be mindful about changing it to keep him comfortable and clean and dry. He is also a pup who would be perfectly content going everywhere with you (ideal) or being kept in a small area like the kitchen or behind a puppy pen when someone isn’t home for a few hours. Judd is very good about waiting to poop outside on one of his walks (he does walk slow! He’s a little guy and a bit of a old man! But he loves being outside).
