Age: D.O.B 9/20/2012 11 years old Weight: approx 95 lbs.

Up to date on all vaccines.
Josie did have a mass on her hind quarters right by her butt. That was tested and found to be a mass cell tumor. It was removed and all the margins around the area tested and it showed that all the mass cells had been removed. She also has a fatty mass on her underside which was tested and is nothing more than a fatty lipoma and nothing to worry about. Her teeth are looking good for her age.

Housebroken: Yes-Potty pad also Crate trained: Yes

Leash trained: Yes Sleeps in bed: unsure but if given
the chance I bet she would.

Good with dogs: NO-Dog Selective Good with cats: NO

Travels in a vehicle: loves to ride in a car and is very respectful and calm.

Good with kids 0-5: unknown Good with kids 5 and up: we
have been told yes but no first hand Knowledge

Must have a fenced yard: Yes, this is because of her not getting along with other dogs so taking her on walks for the bathroom is not something she should do.

Dog Parks: NO Again very dog selective so she should NEVER be in a setting where there will be other dogs to upset her.

Likes and Dislikes: Josie loves everyone who gives her attention. She is very mellow and laid back. She likes to have some soft food mixed in with her dry kibble but it is not a “must do”. We have just spoiled her that way while she has been with us. She does know some commands such as Sit, Kennel and Come. She loves to get treats after being out. Usually she will run to her dog bed and sit down to wait for them.
She is not a fan of going out in the rain to potty but with coaxing she will. She is not very interested in playing with toys however she will take them and bury them into her blankets and have them there for safe keeping.

What are we hoping for Josie: We are hoping to find a home/family for Josie that will love her and let her live out her remaining days with them. She is looking for someone to just sit and be with and cuddle with. She is a very quiet and laid back dog and really doesn’t require a lot of work ….all she needs is love.

Adoption Fee: This can be discussed when the right people are found for her.
