Hi! My name is Joplin (my fosters call me “Jolly”) and I'm the sweetest girl you will ever meet. I'm happiest when I'm with my foster parents following them around wherever they go and helping out at home. I really like to be involved with whatever my family and friends are doing!

I enjoy sleeping in lots of places: on my bed, on my blanket in my crate, or outside in the sun. Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy a good walk but I am not made for marathon trips. I walk very nicely on a leash and know basic manners. I spent time living on the streets and am getting stronger thanks to my foster family providing stability.

I do have my potty routines and my fosters do a good job of making sure I go outside regularly since I am still learning indoor life. I am not able to hear at all which is one of the reasons I stay so close to my fosters and my other dog friends. I'm looking for my forever home. I can't wait to meet you and win you over with my engaging eye contact, warm cuddles, and calm demeanor.

Our adoption requirements are:

We only adopt pets within 4 hours of Reno
You must be 21 years of age
All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information)
We do not place female boxers with other female dogs
Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption!
We do not adopt out dogs as gifts
