What does it feel like to be in a home and then end up as a stray because you were dumped or wandered too far away from home? Well, it’s scary for some. Look at Johnny’s intake picture. He was very confused and unsure of this loud environment.

The ARK was hopeful that we could reunite this young, male, black lab mix with his people after he came in as a stray, but after a strong social media presence, no one has claimed him. The poor guy was either dumped or ventured too far away from home, but he is a great dog that keeps a clean kennel and doesn’t seem overly aroused around the other dogs. We named him Johnny (since he was found near Johnson’s Park). He is 50 pounds and fully vetted and ready for an adopter. We were hopeful that he would have been in a home very quickly, but after two weekends of heavy traffic from adopters, he is still here. Can you like and share and give him the same social media presence that he received when we listed him as a stray. He is a great dog. Someone took the time to work with him and love him.
