Jolly Shepherd & Retriever Mix Palatine, IL

Hello there! I am an approximately 3 month old Shepherd/Retriever mix puppy which just translates into CUTENESS OVERLOAD! At around 10-15 pounds, I have just started on my growing phase, so expect that I will become a bigger bundle of cute as I mature.  

I am doing well with potty training, but as with any young ‘un, I will need continued training so it sticks. Foster mom says I’m a good learner!

Now on to the good stuff....I love to cuddle and snuggle, and my soft puppy coat makes it easy to pet me a lot! I get along with other dogs and will run, play, and pass out from too much play. In true puppy fashion, I am easily distracted with toys and noises and something fun — ooh, look over there! Right now I sleep through the night, but of course I have my siblings to keep me company here at my foster's house. I may cry a bit in a new home, but together we can work through it.   

What am I looking for? A family that will let me grow into a beloved pack member. It’s simple: you put in time and effort and I reward with love and devotion. Good deal!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must send an application or email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org prior to a Saturday Adoption Event so we know you plan on attending. If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. :-)

The breed or breed mix listed for each dog is simply a guess. The profile software program requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals.
