Meet JOLENE (Spayed!)

JOLENE is from a litter of four puppies that arrived at the shelter at the end of February. The puppies were listed as Labrador mixes, and were estimated at eight weeks of age at that time. She has now had two sets of puppy vaccines and is available for adoption. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, JOLENE was spayed on Thursday, May 2. As a result, she can go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt JOLENE. Even better, consider taking a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
