Jojo Rabbit was a stray in Memphis. He came to us underweight and with heart worm. He’s completed heart worm treatment, is at a great weight and is overall a healthy boy!
Jojo is a bit anxious, and would do best in a suburban or country environment. Little things scare him on a daily basis- such as a bike going by on our walks. He is a flight risk, and will dart out a door, or would run if something scared him. I guess you can call him a bit of a spaz. However he has some charming qualities as well. He is very affectionate and cuddly, loves to go for rides in the car and gets so excited when you pull his harness out for his walks. He is eager to please. House trained. He loves hiking in the woods! No couch potatoes please.
Jojo is a messy drinker. He sticks his entire face/muzzle into the bowl, making a huge wet sloppy mess multiple times a day. If this grosses you out- he’s not the dog for you. If you don’t mind keeping a towel by the water bowl for your floor- keep reading.
A home with a fenced in yard would be ideal. He’s not the type of dog that will do well on a tie out. Jojo loves other dogs. He actually won’t eat his breakfast without his dog friends. He shares his bowls of food. He loves breakfast time. He would love to have a dog companion, but it’s not a must.
