Meet Joey

Hi, my name is Joey! I am around 2 years old and I came to the shelter when I was found as a stray.

I am a very lively and friendly guy with a big personality. I have a lot of energy and have really benefited from the scheduled walks and basic training I am learning from the staff and volunteers at the shelter. Everyone who works with me says I am whip smart and could be trained to do much more than what I am learning at the shelter. I do walk well on the leash, I love to jog with people and enjoy my long walks on the trails. Puzzle feeders and other enrichment is a must to keep my brain busy. I prefer a home with no cats or other dogs.

I have been neutered, am up to date on my rabies, DAPP vaccines, and have been micro-chipped too. My adoption fee is $150 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County).
