Hi everyone. I'm Jenny. They call me a sweet, golden girl and I heard them say I'm 11 years old. I sure don't feel 11! All I know is I am young at heart and would love a loving home. If that's a retirement home, I'm okay with that. Sounds good to me. I am house trained, good with other dogs and good with kids.

They also tell me I am heartworm positive right now. But I bet if you ask, they could retest me again and see if I test negative now because I've been taking my medicine like a good girl. But don't worry - Heartworms are NOT contagious. At the rescue, they use a safe, slow treatment method as directed by our supervising veterinarian. Heartgard preventative stops any new worms from growing. After 6-18 months I will be heartworm free. I probably am now!

Some of our adoptions are part of our "Spay it Forward" program. 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet.

The minimum $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
