Jayco Whippet & Terrier Mix Joliet, IL

Jayco is an amazing 10-month-old Whippet/Terrier puppy who loves to play. Sadly, he was an owner surrender last June (his mom had just given birth to him) and has been overlooked since then. When Jayco meets new people, he can be a little shy. Give him some time, though, and he comes out of his shell, showing just how playful, silly, and sweet he truly is!

A bonus is that Jayco is very smart! He knows how to sit and is currently working on other skills. Ultimately, food and love are the way to Jayco's heart. He just wants to give and receive affection and unlimited cuddles. We think he would be great in a home with other dogs or puppies that he can befriend!

Jayco’s adoption fee is $350 which includes his neuter, microchip, fecal exam, and shots up to date. His birthday is 6/21/23.

All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
