Yorkie Mix
About 3 years old
Jake is About 16lbs
Jake was found in a secluded area of Arkansas with another dog, Junie. They were seen chasing a truck that was believed to have just abandoned them. He had some skin issues due to having fleas from living outside, but now that the fleas are gone, his skin is healing, and the fur is growing back nicely.
Jake is 16 pounds of pure sweetness and has an abundance of love to give! He plays with squeaky toys and loves fetch! He is kid and dog friendly! He is working on going potty outside. Now that he’s on a regular schedule, she is giving signals that he needs to go out and has only had a couple of accidents.
Jake is very smart and has learned “sit” and is working on “give paw”. He redirects easily by using the word “no” and is very eager to please. He will jump up and sit with you and give kisses. He wants you to know that his belly is always available for some belly rubs.
He sleeps through the night like a champ in a pen with Junie and will whine for a few minutes but settles down quickly and goes to sleep. If given the opportunity, he would much rather curl up next to you if allowed.
Going outside is his jam! He knows what you’re saying when you ask if he wants to go outside and when he’s inside, he loves to look out the window. He gets the zoomies and is fast as can be! Once he gets started, he’s lightning fast!
He does well in the car and is a great copilot.

His adoption fee is $375 and it includes spay/neuter, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process
