Meet Jackson
Hi, I'm Jackson! I'm a pretty curious soul with a brave heart. I’m always sniffing out new adventures and exploring new places. This afforded me the chance to get lost with my sidekick, Molly (also up for adoption) so here I am! But, I can be a little shy, especially around men. It takes me a while to trust, but once I do, I'm as loyal as they come. I'm smart, friendly and promise to be your best friend. I might have had a bumpy start, but I'm ready for a new chapter. I'm looking for a patient, loving home where I can feel safe and loved. Could that be with you?
Jackson’s ideal home would be with a female owner with or without children above 6 years of age. He is dog-friendly, but a small female would fit him best.
Jackson was running as a stray for over 2 weeks before making his way to a small, rural shelter in Texas. When his stray hold was over, he came to Saving Grace.
Families with cats: Local Texas adoptions only so we can cat test in your home environment.
Local adoption fee: $225

Jackson is currently located with our rescue in the Texas Panhandle. We are one of 3 partner rescues with Project Freedom Ride and do monthly transports to the PNW and NE.
All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable and a negative fecal.
