This handsome fellow is Jackson!

Jackson is an approximately 16-month old male Labrador mix and weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued from a small rural shelter in Oklahoma.

Jackson is so sweet and affectionate (maybe a little too affectionate for small children). He is a strong boy so experience with larger dogs is best. He is such a goofy boy and just wants to love you!

His best life would be with an active individual or family to help him burn energy and get his playfulness out, then he is a mellow boy ready to just relax and be by your side. Adequate exercise is essential for his success. He would be happy to run, walk, or hike with you.

Jackson is playful and does best with other high energy dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. He is very people oriented. He will need to meet any dogs in the household before adoption.

He is kennel-trained (though not a fan), keeps a clean kennel in boarding, and would do best with an Easy Walker type harness and leash. He rides very well in the car.

Jackson is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

His adoption fee is $200.

Since Jackson is in a boarding situation, he qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster.
