Jack Beagle Dillsburg, PA

Jack is an 8 years young Beagle boy who has had a rough start in life, but has made strides while in rescue. He is not cuddly and does not want to be handled or petted all over by people he does not know well. He at times snaps at the hands of people he does not know well, and has bitten people on the hand in the past. He has at this time not snapped, nor lunged for anything other than hands.

He is more than his past though, always making progress and is appreciative of the chance in life he has been given. He is extremely loyal and loving to those he has made a bond with.

Jack gets nervous with most dogs and would do best as a single dog in a home.

Jack needs a patient adopter who is experienced with dogs that come from abusive, or neglectful beginnings. He is a dog who needs time & love to bond with a new owner. He is very deserving of love, and if you are able, Jack would be a great companion.

He knows and we know that there is a home out there for him, and we're not going to give up on him- and he isn't giving up on us either.


Come visit Jack Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm.
